Cherry Studio
Cherry Studio is a desktop AI client that supports many models, good for everyday chat, writing, translation and knowledge-base Q&A. Add one custom provider to use every FlyRouter model.
Add FlyRouter
Create a provider
Open Settings → Model Provider, click + Add at the bottom of the list, name it FlyRouter and set the provider type to OpenAI.
Enter the API details
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| API Key | Your FlyRouter key (sk-...) |
| API Host | https://api.flyrouter.ai |
Cherry Studio appends /v1/chat/completions to the host itself, so don't include /v1 here.
Add models
Click Manage to fetch FlyRouter's available models and click + next to the ones you want, or click Add and type a model ID such as claude-sonnet-5-5 or gpt-6.1-sol.
Check and enable
Click Check next to the API key and pick a model to test the connection. Once it passes, turn on the switch at the top right of the provider, and the FlyRouter models appear in the chat model picker.
Call Claude over the Anthropic protocol
To use Claude's native protocol (fuller support for reasoning and more), add a second provider with type Anthropic, set the API host to https://api.flyrouter.ai as well, and add Claude models.
Troubleshooting
- Check fails with 404: the API host has an extra
/v1or a trailing path. - A new model isn't in the list: fetch the model list again, or add the model ID by hand.
- Only some models show up: Cherry Studio only shows models you've added, so click + for each one you need.
